I have no complaints about this place. They allowed me to sit inside and wait for my friend and offered me water in the meantime. The food we ordered all had generous portions and was very tasty. I loved my pasta and the Mac n cheese was great too. I liked that the biscuits had a touch of sweetness to go with the fried chicken as well. I can proudly say this was also the best avocado toast I've had in a long time. The bread wasn't too hard but nicely toasted, the ratio of avocado added with the feta (goat?) cheese was a great add and made the dish so enjoyable. The interior is an elevated diner experience and great for both a more casual or date night.
Kindly allowed us to sit with only 20 minutes left before close on a Sunday night. Speedy service and delicious food. I recommend the fish tacos! Awesome.
I saw the low rating for Raymond's on Yelp and asked if we could switch locations. The company we were with insisted the food is good so we kept our reservations. The restaurant has a BYOB policy, which can be fun if you are eating with friends. The food was good and all plates and silverware were clean! Service was very fast and the atmosphere was pleasant...minus our table atmosphere. We ordered a kid's plate of grilled chicken and mashed potatoes for our toddlers. We also ordered calamari and fish tacos. The calamari was a 5 out of 5 stars. It was delicious, had the perfect crunch and even the hot peppers were deep fried as well! The fish tacos I thought were chicken tacos...so not the best. The fish was overcooked and had a rubbery texture. All in all I would definitely come back here with friends or family. The only problem I had at this restaurant was the people we were sitting with at the table. If they were gone, we would have had a fabulous time :)
The food was outstanding, and their Belgian hot chocolate had me giggling like a school girl. Their burger was phenomenal, and very juicy. The service was also very good and the waitress made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
My husband took me to Raymond's for late breakfast/lunch last week. We sat outside. Our waiter brought us coffee, leaving a carafe on the table for us which was nice. My husband ordered an omelette with cheese and I had the Tuna Nicoise salad. Raymond's Tuna Nicoise is one of the better versions that I've had in a good while. The seared tuna and seasoning on the outside made the salad. This will definitely be my repeat order when I come back.
I love Raymond's!! Like truly love them. Their French toast might be the best thing on the menu. No joke! However, their BLT is not desirable. They give little to no bacon, like legit only two slices. If you are to order the BLT ask for extra bacon because you'll need it. The calamari is also a go to! It's always fresh and flavorful.
